Job summary

Fluid Codes in Dubai seeks a Senior Consulting Engineer to lead end-to-end CFD engagements for aerospace and other industries, from scoping and proposals through delivery. You will mentor engineers, deliver training, and accelerate capability in new application areas, with a focus on aircraft icing simulations to support customer certification programs.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Aerospace Engineering with aerospace/aerodynamics focus.
• 5+ years hands-on CFD experience, including aerospace projects; customer-facing consulting preferred.
• Strong foundation in aerodynamics, compressible flow, turbulence, heat transfer and multiphase models.
• In-depth knowledge of aerospace fundamentals including external aerodynamics, flight mechanics, stability analysis and aeroelasticity.
• Hands-on experience with ANSYS Fluent, including turbulence and multiphase modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Ansys FENSAP-ICE (or LEWICE) and icing physics; ability to learn quickly.
• Experience with ANSYS SpaceClaim/Fluent Meshing and HPC for large simulations.
• Python scripting and UDFs in Fluent.
• Exposure to Ansys System Coupling/Mechanical for FSI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical scoping and proposal preparation with approach, deliverables, effort, schedule, risks and exclusions.
• Own end-to-end consulting project execution: define work plan, milestones, risks, reviews, and documentation.
• Provide CFD simulations for aerospace applications, including external/internal aerodynamics, turbulence, heat transfer, and multiphase modeling.
• Lead aircraft icing simulations using Ansys FENSAP-ICE covering impingement, ice accretion, and performance impact.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and present findings to customer teams.
• Conduct online and onsite training for customers and develop training materials and workshops.
