JOBSUMMARY

Senior Application Engineer – FEA, will engage in post-sales, and training activities to simulate complex mechanical engineering problems for customers using ANSYS (part of Synopsys) solutions. Helpkey-customers in proper usage of ANSYS structural tools to improve customers’ productivity and satisfaction with ANSYS solutions.

The position is based in Dubai, UAE.

ABOUT THEROLE

• Function as a specialist inthe use and application of Ansys Structural simulation tools (Ansys Mechanical)
• Provide technical support andtraining for Customers in middle east region by responding to Customerinquiries, guiding them through challenging industrial applications andrecommending the most appropriate simulation usage
• Provide basic and advancedtraining for new and existing customers on Ansys structural solutions.
• Support the sales team in engagementwith the customers from the technical point of view, by creating elegant anduseful simulation solutions, participating in meetings, performing livepresentations as well as demo cases, and developing case studies to demonstrateAnsys solutions.
• Work independently to analyzetechnical needs, requirements, and state of a customer’s currentinfrastructure, operations, and engineering workflows.
• Develop technical supportrepositories that help Fluid Codes customers to be productive and efficient.
• Develop and strengthenlong-term relationships with customers.
• Develop competence as asubject matter expert and industry expert.

DESIREDCANDIDATE PROFILE

• Hold an MS/PhD in Mechanical,Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Preferred education and yearsof professional experience: BS+5, or MS+3
• Minimum 5 years of industrial experiencein solving Structural Engineering problems using Ansys tools.
• Expert-level knowledge oflinear, non-linear structural mechanics, explicit dynamics, linear dynamics,design optimization and multi-physics
• Experience in compositestructural analysis is an advantage.
• Practical work experience inAerospace & Defense industry is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skillsin English (writing and presenting).
• Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills, with the ability to facilitate and conduct webinars andpresentations to customers.
• Logical problem-solvingapproach and the ability to clearly communicate the situation and proposedsolution to the customer.
• Possesses a sense of urgency,strong organizational and follow up skills.
• Have an engaging personality,engineering curiosity, willingness for continuous learning and professionalmindset.
• Demonstrated experience inproviding customer technical support, training or with similar customer-facingactivities
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
