Job summary

AimGulf in Abu Dhabi invites an Assembly Tool Design Engineer to design and develop assembly tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauges for aerospace manufacturing.

You will create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings, perform tolerance analyses, and collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure quality and productivity. This on-site role requires 5+ years in tooling or manufacturing engineering, with aerospace experience and familiarity with GD&T and AS9100.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of tooling/fixture design experience.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is required.
• Familiar with GD&T and AS9100 quality systems.
• Experience with PLM tools and CAD/CAE workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop assembly tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges and templates.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for production release.
• Perform tolerance stack-up and validation analyses.
• Support NPI, lean initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with suppliers during fabrication and qualification phases.
• Provide engineering documentation and BOMs.
