Job summary

Sundus in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Tooling Technician to translate customer tooling requirements into production-grade tools. You will work with engineers to define, specify and release tooling assets, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

The role covers manufacturing tooling, implementing cost-saving improvements, and maintaining compliance with QHSSE standards while applying lean, DFMA and related methods.

Qualifications

• Understand tooling requirements from bid to production release.
• Support design of new tools based on customer data.
• Manufacture tools per specifications provided by senior staff.
• Apply lean, DFMA and Six Sigma concepts to tooling processes.

Responsibilities

• Define and qualify tooling requirements for production releases.
• Assist engineers in tool design based on customer data.
• Manufacture tools according to specified guidelines.
• Implement improvements to reduce cost and improve effectiveness.
