Job summary

NADIA Recruitment & Management Consultants in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a client’s finance team. The role emphasizes hands-on accounting, VAT compliance, and ERP operations.

You will maintain ledgers, produce monthly statements, and support audits while working with Odoo ERP and UAE regulations. The position requires 3–5 years of experience and a solid background in manufacturing or industrial settings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and FTA requirements.
• Good MS Excel skills and financial reporting.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial companies is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare financial statements and monthly reports.
• Handle bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations.
• Record and verify financial transactions using Odoo ERP.
• Monitor cash flow, payments, collections, and expenses.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support audits.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.Mandatory hands-on experience with Odoo ERP.Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and FTA requirements.Good knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.Experience in manufacturing or industrial companies is an advantage.
