Job summary

GAL Global Aerospace Logistics in Abu Dhabi seeks a Supervisor for 2nd Line Bell 407 maintenance to manage a team of maintenance personnel and ensure airworthiness alongside regulatory compliance. The role requires coordination with Team Leads, customers, and test pilots, and oversight of training activities to maintain high standards of maintenance practices.

The ideal candidate will oversee workflow, allocate resources, and ensure tools and training are available to staff to support mission

Qualifications

• Minimum supervision experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Familiar with FAA, EASA TAMMS and related standards.
• Ability to lead training activities for maintenance personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance personnel within the section and ensure compliance with procedures and records.
• Oversee guidance and counseling of maintenance staff assigned to the aircraft section.
• Assist Team Leads and Maintenance Manager in training activities for all personnel in the relevant sections.
• Ensure aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards per regulations and manuals.
• Direct staff during flight line activities including launching aircraft and logbook maintenance.
• Inform Team Leads about personnel and resource requirements based on workload.
• Maintain liaison with customer, Team Leads, and test pilots to provide status updates.
• Determine maintenance personnel requirements based on workload and project needs.
• Ensure assigned personnel have tools, equipment, and training to support mission requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Team Lead or Manager.
