Job summary

GAL Global Aerospace Logistics is seeking a supervisor to oversee daily workshop maintenance operations in Abu Dhabi. The role includes coordinating servicing techniques, distributing work orders, and ensuring compliance with TAMMS in aircraft component repair.

The successful candidate will maintain records, monitor logistics for parts and tools, and support production efficiency through maintenance trend analyses and proper reporting. This position is based in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising day-to-day workshop maintenance operations.
• Ability to coordinate servicing and repair techniques per directives and manuals.
• Experience distributing and monitoring work orders in a workshop setting.
• Familiarity with maintenance records and reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day workshop maintenance operations.
• Coordinate servicing and repair techniques with shop supervisors.
• Distribute and monitor all work orders assigned to the shops.
• Maintain and update personnel files and relevant records.
• Ensure records pertaining to aircraft component repair comply with TAMMS.
• Assist in determining need for outside contractors and coordinate such work.
• Inspect shop facilities and prepare required reports.
• Determine man-hours, personnel, parts and facility requirements to improve production.
• Monitor logistical needs for parts, tools, manuals, and equipment.
• Perform maintenance trend analysis and apply maintenance management principles.
• Maintain accountability records for all tools and equipment assigned to the Workshop Department.
