Cheval Collection Ltd in Dubai seeks a dedicated Hotel Security Manager to lead the daily operations of the Security Department, ensuring the safety of guests and assets while implementing robust security policies.
You will ensure compliance with SIRA and Dubai regulations, manage a multicultural security team, and oversee CCTV, access systems, incident reporting, and emergency response.
Lead and manage the daily operations of the Hotel Security Department.
Ensure the safety and security of guests, colleagues, visitors, contractors, hotel property, and assets.
Develop, implement, and regularly review hotel security policies, procedures, and standards.
Ensure full compliance with SIRA requirements and applicable Dubai/UAE regulations.
Manage, motivate, train, and develop the security team to maintain high professional standards.
Prepare security duty rosters, allocate responsibilities, and ensure appropriate security coverage at all times.
Conduct regular security inspections, patrols, risk assessments, and security audits.
Identify potential security threats and implement appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
Monitor the hotel's CCTV, access control, alarm, communication, and other security systems.
Ensure proper control of staff entrances, guest areas, restricted areas, keys, access cards, and sensitive locations.
Coordinate security arrangements for VIP guests, dignitaries, high-profile visitors, events, and special functions.
Lead the response to security incidents, emergencies, evacuations, medical emergencies, suspicious activities, theft, accidents, and other critical situations.
Conduct investigations into security incidents, losses, theft, damage, complaints, and other irregularities.
Prepare accurate and timely incident reports, investigation reports, daily security logs, and management reports.
Maintain effective communication and coordination with SIRA, Dubai Police, Dubai Civil Defence, and other relevant authorities.
Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, HR, and other departments on security and safety matters.
Support the hotel's fire and life-safety programme and participate in emergency drills and exercises.
Ensure all security equipment and systems are operational and that defects are reported and followed up promptly.
Manage lost and found security procedures and ensure proper documentation and control.
Deliver security awareness and emergency response training to hotel colleagues.
Maintain confidentiality regarding security incidents, investigations, VIP information, and other sensitive matters.
Continuously review and improve hotel security procedures and operational standards.
Valid SIRA Security Manager Licence – Mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of relevant security experience, preferably within a 5-star or luxury hotel environment.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Security Manager, Assistant Security Manager, or equivalent senior security position.
Strong knowledge of hotel security operations, risk management, emergency response, incident investigation, and loss prevention.
Strong working knowledge of SIRA requirements and Dubai security regulations.
Experience managing CCTV, access control, security systems, and surveillance operations.
Proven experience leading and developing a multicultural security team.
Excellent communication, leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and security reporting systems.
Relevant qualifications in security, fire safety, first aid, emergency management, or risk management are an advantage.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and respond to emergencies when required.
Full-time hotel management position.
