Job summary

AccorHotels Middle East seeks a Security Manager to lead hotel security operations, train officers, conduct investigations, and ensure VIP safety on-site in Dubai. The role requires strong English skills and a SIRA license, with a focus on procedures, reporting and compliance.

You will manage the security team, oversee daily activities, coordinate emergency responses, and ensure adherence to safety policies while maintaining high professional standards and guest confidence.

Qualifications

• Secondary / High school education.
• SIRA Security Manager License is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a security role.
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• No criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Train Security Officers in surveillance equipment, reports, patrols, first aid and procedures.
• Disseminate information from management to team members.
• Conduct patrols and checks to ensure alertness and duty completion.
• Conduct criminal investigations and compile investigation papers and case reports.
• Monitor staff compliance with house rules and movements of suspects.
• Coordinate emergency response and traffic for fire, bomb threats, police, injury or illness.
• Inspect security equipment and ensure cameras are properly focused.
• Maintain day-to-day security records and post allocations.
• Provide security for VIP guests and be on-call for emergencies.
• Lead, coach and develop the security team, including inductions and training.
• Prepare weekly staff schedules aligned with business needs and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with hotel fire and life safety procedures.
• Attend briefings and trainings and uphold professional appearance.
