A leading security management firm in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Security Coordinator to oversee security operations on site. The ideal candidate will have at least 18 years of experience in the security industry, particularly within EPC or oil and gas sectors. Responsibilities include supervising operations, managing incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Overview

Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid).

Duties and responsibilities

• Support the Security Manager in implementing and maintaining security procedures, plans, and controls.
• Supervise daily security operations, including access control, site protection, and movement control.
• Coordinate and monitor security subcontractors and guard services to ensure compliance with approved requirements.
• Assist in managing security incidents, investigations and emergency situations, ensuring proper escalation and reporting.
• Conduct security risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.
• Ensure security awareness and compliance among project personnel.
• Liaise with site management, HSE and relevant authorities as required.
• Prepare security reports, incident logs, and operational updates.

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

• University degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Management, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Professional security certifications are an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 18 years of experience in security roles within EPC, oil & gas, or large industrial projects.
• Experience in site-based security operations and contractor supervision.
• Previous experience as Deputy Security Manager, Security Supervisor, or Senior Security Coordinator is preferred.
