Job summary

Met T&S Ltd. is seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor for site operations in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring all field activities comply with TCM HSE policy, regulations, standards, and procedures while promoting preventive and corrective actions.

Responsibilities include leading HSE walk-throughs, coordinating training, and managing incident investigations. The position requires extensive commissioning experience in oil & gas or petrochemical sectors.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform JHA/JSA and participate in safety analyses.
• Maintain and update HSE documentation across construction phases.
• Monitor and enforce site HSE procedures, standards and regulations.

Commissioning/ Pre-Commissioning HSE Supervisor reports to the Construction HSECoordinator or, while he is the TCM HSE representative at site, he reports tothe Site Manager.

He / She verifies andensures that all field activities are performed according to the TCM HSEpolicy, the regulations, standards and procedures, promoting all preventiveand corrective action as required.

Duties and responsibilities

• Toperform the job hazardous analysis (JHA) and participate to the job safetyanalysis (JSA).
• Verifythe adequacy and application of the site HSE lan and all related procedures,to the preparing any revisions.
• Toupdate the HSE documentation during all the construction phases when deemednecessary.
• Tocheck that subcontractors perform their activities in accordance with all theHSE applicable procedures, regulation and standards, promoting all necessaryaction to ensure that the said procedures and regulations are observed.
• Toorganize, plan and participate to periodical HSE walk around, inspections andaudits on site, prepare all the relevant reports, action plans, verify thefollow up and the timely execution of the corrective action.
• Toorganize, coordinate and directly participate in the HSE training activitieson site.
• Toorganize and participate to all relevant site HSE meetings, prepare therelevant MOM.
• Tocooperate with the client concerning the issue of any necessary work permits.
• Toorganize in case of work accidents a full investigation of the event,finalized to the identification of corrective measure to avoid reoccurrence.
• Tokeep accident records, identifying the areas to which prevention must beaddressed.
• Toperform and / or promote the indoctrination / training of personnel.
• Leadand coordinate the activities off the site HSE committee (composed by allcontractor and subcontractors HSE representative).
• Tolead and coordinate the site emergency response team and fire prevention /fighting team, organizing training and emergency drill mock activities.
• Toprepare the HSE section of the construction monthly progress report and otherperiodical report.
• Toprepare and update the site HSE statistics, verify the performance versus theproject and corporate HSE objective, targets and performance indicators.
• Propose recovery plan incase of mismatch.

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

• UniversityDegree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum10 years’ experience in HSE in commissioning projects / operations in the oil& gas or petrochemical industries.
• Relevantexperience in 3 major EPC projects; oil & gas, petrochemical sector.
