Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a Fresh Food Department Manager in Dubai to oversee daily operations, ensure product availability and effective visual merchandising. The role requires 4–6 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced grocery setting and HACCP certification.

• Comprehensive understanding and active certification in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and strict adherence to UAE municipal food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage, train, and roster a diverse team of merchandisers and floor staff during highly demanding peak retail hours.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily commercial operations of the Fresh Food section, ensuring maximum product availability, impeccable visual merchandising, and zero out-of-stock situations.
• Aggressively monitor inventory levels, manage supplier deliveries, and strictly control product shrinkage/wastage to protect departmental profit margins.
• Resolve escalated customer complaints swiftly and professionally on the shop floor, ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction and NPS (Net Promoter Score) growth.
