  • Develop students ' mathematical reasoning and ability to solve quantitative Physics problems accurately.
  • Guide learners in designing investigations, collecting reliable data and evaluating experimental evidence.
  • Differentiate instruction so students at different attainment levels receive suitable support and challenge.
  • Prepare structured learning sequences that develop increasingly sophisticated conceptual understanding.
  • Use demonstrations, laboratory investigations, simulations and appropriate digital resources to strengthen learning.
  • Maintain rigorous laboratory safety procedures during practical activities.
  • Assess student understanding regularly through formative and summative methods.
  • Analyse achievement data to identify misconceptions, learning gaps and opportunities for extension.

Ideal Profile
  • Recognised degree-level teaching qualification such as B.Ed, PGCE, State Teaching License or equivalent.
  • Academic specialism in Physics or an appropriate closely related discipline.
  • Minimum three years of successful Secondary Physics teaching experience.
  • IB MYP and/or IB Diploma Programme teaching experience is highly desirable.
  • A-Level Physics experience is preferred for candidates transitioning from a British curriculum background.
  • Excellent command of Secondary Physics subject content.
  • Strong practical laboratory and scientific investigation skills.
