Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to join the In Room Dining Kitchen. You will assist the Chef de Partie, supervise during absence, and prepare dishes to the group’s quality standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a 5-star setting, a high school diploma, English proficiency, and readiness to work November to June. The role requires teamwork and strict adherence to UAE food safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Degree or higher? Hospitality/Culinary preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a 5-star or fine dining setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in daily duties and cover during absence.
• Prepare mise en place to high quality standards.
• Ensure plating guides and dish descriptions are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in line with food safety standards.
• Support team and other outlets when required.
