Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Sea Freight Manager to lead and develop the Sea Freight division in Dubai. The role requires 15+ years of strong industry experience and an extensive network with Ocean Liners, NVOCCs, Feeder Operators and Shipping Lines, with solid commercial and operational expertise across all Sea Freight products.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a Sea Freight Department, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of global sea freight

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Sea Freight or Freight Forwarding.
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing a Sea Freight Department / Business Unit.
• Strong leadership and proven Department Head / senior management experience.
• Excellent connections with Main Line Operators, NVOCCs, Feeder Operators and Shipping Lines.
• Strong knowledge of global Sea Freight markets, products, trade lanes and carrier networks.
• Proven commercial, negotiation and business development capabilities.
• Strong industry network in UAE shipping Industry.
• Experience managing teams, budgets, targets and departmental profitability.
