Science Coordinator Teacher – British Curriculum – Full‑time position in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role is for an experienced Science educator with strong academic coordination skills and UAE school experience. It supports curriculum delivery in a British curriculum environment, guides Science teaching practice, supports department planning, improves student outcomes, and contributes to a structured learning environment focused on academic progress, practical inquiry, and high classroom standards.

The Science Coordinator Teacher will support the planning, monitoring, and improvement of Science teaching across assigned grade levels. The role combines classroom teaching with academic coordination, ensuring lessons are well structured, assessments are meaningful, and teachers receive practical guidance in curriculum implementation.

Salary range: 9000‑14000 AED. Gender: Any. Candidate nationality: Any. Role is full‑time.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate Science curriculum planning and teaching delivery across assigned grades in line with school expectations.


• Teach Science lessons using clear explanations, inquiry‑based learning methods, and practical classroom strategies.


• Support Science teachers in lesson planning, resource preparation, assessment design, and classroom delivery.


• Help maintain strong academic standards across Science teaching, learning, assessment, and student progress tracking.


• Contribute to department planning, curriculum mapping, schemes of work, review meetings, and academic improvement actions.


• Work with school leaders to support improvement in Science learning outcomes and classroom teaching quality.


• Monitor student performance data and help identify learning gaps, intervention needs, and enrichment opportunities.


• Guide teachers in using effective strategies for scientific reasoning, investigation, practical learning, and exam preparation.


• Support assessment preparation, moderation, feedback quality, and consistent marking practices across the department.


• Promote safe and purposeful practical Science learning, including correct use of equipment and responsible laboratory behavior.


• Maintain accurate records of plans, assessments, student progress, department documents, and academic reports.


• Communicate professionally with teachers, coordinators, parents, and school leaders regarding student progress and department priorities.


• Adapt quickly to school systems, curriculum requirements, and the academic expectations of a British curriculum school.


• Carry out additional responsibilities related to Science coordination, teaching support, and school academic operations.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Science is required.


• Master’s degree in Science is preferred.


• B.Ed. is mandatory.


• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in the same Science teaching or coordination role is mandatory.


• Experience in British curriculum schools is preferred.


• Strong Science subject knowledge with the ability to support teaching across relevant Science areas.


• Experience in lesson planning, curriculum coordination, assessment preparation, classroom management, and academic reporting.


• Ability to guide teachers, review student progress, and contribute to department‑level academic planning.


• Good communication skills with confidence in working with school leaders, teachers, students, and parents.


• Organized, proactive, and able to manage both teaching and coordination responsibilities effectively.


• Must be available to join immediately.
