Job summary

MADI International in Abu Dhabi is seeking a commercially driven Salon Business Development Partner to manage and grow a portfolio of partner salons and spas. You will build strong client relationships and drive sales growth across the professional beauty industry.

The role focuses on improving salon performance, identifying education needs, coordinating with the Education team, and ensuring brand standards, retail KPIs, and successful onboarding of new partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business/marketing or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management in beauty/salon industry.
• Proven experience managing salon or spa accounts and building relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
• Strong understanding of salon operations, retail sales, and salon KPIs.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets, grow existing accounts, and acquire new business.
• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially minded, proactive, and results-oriented with analytical/problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel locally to visit salon partners.
• Valid driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of partner salons and spas, building relationships with salon owners and managers.
• Coach salon partners on business performance indicators (retail-to-service ratio, average ticket value, rebooking rates, etc.).
• Drive sell-in and sell-through via seasonal launches, promotions, stock planning, and merchandising.
• Identify salon education needs and coordinate with Education team to improve skills and business performance.
• Ensure brand standards, including back-bar commitment, in-salon rituals, and visual merchandising.
• Identify, recruit, and onboard new salon partners, including converting competitors.
• Monitor salon performance, identify growth opportunities, and develop action plans to achieve sales targets.
