Job summary

SLAB Building Material is seeking a motivated Sales & Store Manager to support showroom day-to-day operations in Abu Dhabi/Al Ain. You will engage customers, recommend products, prepare quotes, and manage sales records while coordinating with suppliers and maintaining displays.

The ideal candidate is responsible, organized, customer-oriented, and eager to learn about building materials to build strong product knowledge and relationships with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail or building materials is preferred.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Basic finance knowledge (invoices, payments) is a plus.
• Arabic and English communication skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide professional assistance in the showroom.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
• Share product information including specifications, pricing and availability.
• Prepare quotations, invoices and sales records.
• Follow up on orders and coordinate with suppliers on availability and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, sales and supplier information.
• Assist with basic accounting and daily sales records.
• Organize product displays and showroom areas.
• Monitor stock and inform management about reorder needs.
• Handle showroom administrative tasks and maintain professional relations with customers and suppliers.

Job Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide professional assistance in the showroom.
• Understand customers’ requirements and recommend suitable products.
• Provide customers with important product information, including specifications, quality, pricing, availability, and suitable applications.
• Prepare and record customer quotations, invoices, and sales transactions.
• Follow up on customer requests and orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding product availability, prices, orders, and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, sales, and supplier information.
• Assist with basic accounting and daily sales records.
• Organize and maintain product displays and showroom areas.
• Follow up on stock availability and inform management of products that need to be reordered.
• Handle general administrative and operational tasks related to the showroom.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming relationship with customers and suppliers.

Working Hours

Sunday to Friday:

• 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Saturday: Weekly day off

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who isresponsible, presentable, organized, customer-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple tasks. The ideal candidate does not need to be an expert in all building materials from day one, but should be willing to learn about our products and develop strong product knowledge.

Requirements

• Previous experience insales, retail, building materials, lighting, sanitary ware, or a related fieldis preferred.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to explain products clearly and professionally.
• Basic knowledge of invoices, sales records, and payments.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to communicate with suppliers and customers professionally.
• Arabic and Englishcommunication skills are preferred.
• Previous experience with building materials or interior/design products is an advantage.
• Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn.
