Job summary

Responsibilities

• Technical know-how with a keen eye for sales.
• Sales of spare parts for two‑ and four‑stroke engines for the marine industry.
• Ensure support to agreed sales budgets for assigned customers in the region.
• Follow up on agreed IGC plans.
• Apply a value‑based selling approach on all large quotes, bulk orders and solutions.
• Overall responsible for closing orders and meeting sales budgets.
• Build and maintain optimal relations with customers, IGCs and PC stakeholders.
• Develop and implement marketing plans.
• Oversee the sales budget.
• Coordinate regionally between customers, IGCs and headquarters.
• Collect and communicate market intelligence, competitor activities and project opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university, or a degree in engineering or business.
• MBA is an advantage.
• Seasoned sales/marketing experience with 5 to 10 years of related experience, preferably in the marine industry.
• Strong networking skills and local market awareness.
• Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a high degree of customer satisfaction and intimacy orientation.
• Excellent communication, contract negotiation, terms and conditions design and legal implications skills, as well as senior‑level project management.
