Job Overview

Sales Executive - Furniture Retail in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a retail hiring opportunity focused on furniture sales, customer relationship building, sales forecasting, client acquisition, order follow-up, and revenue growth within a premium retail environment. This role supports business unit profitability by converting enquiries into sales, managing customer interactions, coordinating delivery requirements, and promoting furniture products to new and existing clients across Dubai.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support sales targets, sales forecasts, and strategic plans to improve business unit profitability and commercial performance.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and inform brand or category teams of required actions.
  • Manage day-to-day sales activities, including customer follow-up, prospective client checks, negotiations, and sales package preparation.
  • Visit customers regularly to take orders, confirm delivery details, review stock levels, and maintain strong service relationships.
  • Record enquiry progress and maintain accurate updates on customer interest, conversion status, sales opportunities, and future demand.
  • Prepare regular sales reports covering source of business trends, enquiry conversion rates, forecasted sales, and other updates requested by the Sales Manager.
  • Promote the business to new and existing clients through networking, client engagement, sales meetings, and corporate events.
  • Secure new and repeat business by building a strong pipeline of qualified leads through referrals, email follow-up, customer visits, and professional networking.
  • Advise customers on upcoming product developments, new arrivals, special promotions, and suitable furniture solutions.
  • Identify and develop new customer accounts to increase sales volume, market reach, and repeat purchasing opportunities.
  • Prepare sales‑related documents and support contracting activities such as purchase agreements, contracts, and commercial paperwork in coordination with the Legal department.
  • Maintain and file all sales documents, customer records, agreements, and related paperwork in line with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Provide customers with clear product information, clarifications, quotations, availability updates, delivery timelines, and follow‑up support.
  • Respond to customer queries professionally and ensure requested information is shared accurately and on time.
  • Prepare accurate and timely sales forecasts and discuss performance gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement areas with management.
  • Evaluate customers and support required background checks to ensure they meet business unit guidelines.
  • Coordinate logistics requirements for sales orders, ensuring delivery arrangements, stock availability, and customer expectations are properly aligned.
  • Follow up on receivables from clients where applicable and support timely collection in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Perform additional sales, customer service, reporting, and operational tasks as directed by management.
Ideal Profile
  • Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience in the furniture retail industry or luxury retail sector.
  • Strong customer‑facing sales experience with the ability to sell premium furniture, lifestyle products, or high‑value retail items.
  • Good understanding of customer prospecting, order follow‑up, sales reporting, forecasting, negotiations, and account development.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through professional communication and consistent follow‑up.
  • Confident in advising customers on products, promotions, availability, delivery expectations, and suitable purchase options.
  • Experience preparing sales documents, purchase agreements, contracts, quotations, and related commercial paperwork is an advantage.
  • Strong ability to coordinate with legal, logistics, sales management, and internal departments to support smooth order completion.
  • Highly presentable with a polished, professional, and customer‑focused approach.
  • Flexible to work different shifts and across various locations within Dubai.
  • Strong communication, organization, follow‑up, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Able to work with sales targets, performance reports, customer databases, and business development activity.
