Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Sales Engineer for the Aftermarket division in the Dubai region, focusing on HVAC AMC sales and service expansion within the installation base. You will work under the Sales Manager – Dubai Aftermarket to grow revenue through preventive and predictive maintenance packages and strong customer engagement.

You will leverage HVAC service expertise and a proven sales record to close opportunities, expanding aftermarket penetration across the GCC, including Dubai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HVAC aftermarket / aftersales business for HVAC portfolio within GCC region
• Expertise in HVAC Service offering with major focus on Chiller systems
• Proficiency in generating new business from running HVAC installation base and generating new business
• Proven track record of Sales achievements
• Determined, results driven, strong sales drive
• Fluent language skills in English

Responsibilities

• Drive AMC sales and expand aftermarket revenue.
• Approach existing installation base to generate new business opportunities.
• Develop and close AMC opportunities including preventive and predictive maintenance packages.
• Build long-term customer relationships, understand site conditions, and position service solutions.

What you will do

The Sales Engineer will be directly reporting to Sales Manager – Dubai Aftermarket. You will part of team responsible for driving the growth of business for Aftermarket division segment for Building Technology and Solutions with particular focus on HVAC.

The role is centered on driving Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) sales, expanding aftermarket revenue, and approaching the existing installation base to generate new business opportunities. As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to generate business from running HVAC installation base. As part of a dynamic aftermarket team, you will leverage your technical and commercial expertise to maximize service penetration within the active install base.

How you will do it

With strong experience in HVAC Service, you will apply your in‑depth knowledge of chiller systems and service offerings to develop and close AMC opportunities, including preventive and predictive maintenance packages. Your role demands a proactive approach to customer engagement—building long‑term relationships, understanding site conditions, and positioning the right service solutions. You will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, self‑motivation, and the ability to convert technical insights into tangible business wins within your territory. You will exhibit your expertise and ability to close business opportunities with core Services segment.
