Role Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Project Engineer to join our Projects team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, demonstrated leadership in field operations, and a customer‑centric approach to enhance after‑sales execution, customer satisfaction, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise HVAC field teams (senior and assistant technicians) to ensure timely and quality execution of after‑sales and rental projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute HVAC installation, retrofitting, and service works per contract scope and safety standards.
• Identify HVAC rental and maintenance opportunities through site surveys and direct client engagement to generate revenue.
• Conduct thorough site inspections, review MEP drawings, and recommend energy‑efficient solutions and system replacements.
• Manage subcontractors and enforce quality control, safety compliance, cost‑efficiency, and timely project delivery.
• Oversee budgeting and cost control, prepare cost estimates, track expenses, and maintain profitability.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, ensure documentation accuracy, and deliver technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Main Deliverables & Technical Criteria

• Basic HVAC Design Knowledge: Sizing of ductwork, chilled water piping, selection of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and pumps. Familiarity with load calculation tools (e.g., HAP).
• Chilled Water Systems: Expertise in chilled water plant operations, replacements, commissioning, and system optimization.
• Documentation: Preparation of method statements, risk assessments, work permits, and technical submittals.
• Project Prerequisites: Ability to interpret contract documents, design specs, and identify material and manpower needs.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct safety and operational risk assessments; enforce mitigation strategies on‑site.
• Project Scheduling: Develop and monitor project schedules using MS Project/Primavera or equivalent.
• Material Submittals & Procurement: Coordinate with vendors for HVAC equipment/material submittals, approvals, and delivery tracking.
• Testing & Commissioning: Lead pre‑commissioning, testing, and final commissioning of HVAC systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical / Refrigeration Engineering.
• 8–12 years of relevant HVAC experience, with at least 5 years in the GCC region.
• In‑depth understanding of HVAC system operations, retrofits, and maintenance practices.
• Hands‑on experience with chilled water systems, VFDs, BMS integration, and related components.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal); Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
