Job summary

Agile Consultants is seeking a Sales Engineer for Equipment Sales & Rental in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on developing sales and rental business for generators, forklifts and related equipment across Abu Dhabi and the wider regional market.

You will identify new customers in construction, infra, oil & gas and facilities management, generate enquiries, negotiate quotations and close orders, while coordinating with rental, technical and operations teams to fulfil customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant sales experience.
• Experience selling generators, forklifts or equipment rental services.
• Experience generating AMC/service business is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the regional market, preferably Abu Dhabi.
• Arabic language skills are preferred.
• Middle East exposure is advantageous.
• Strong business development, communication, negotiation and commercial skills.
• Self-driven and target-oriented with ability to generate new accounts independently.
• Valid driving licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales and rental business for generators, forklifts and related equipment in Abu Dhabi and wider regional market.
• Identify and develop new customers across construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, industrial, logistics and facilities management.
• Generate enquiries for equipment sales, rentals and AMC/service contracts.
• Visit customers and sites to identify requirements and propose suitable equipment solutions.
• Build relationships with contractors, project companies and other equipment users.
• Prepare quotations and proposals and manage negotiations to order closure.
• Generate new accounts and nurture repeat business.
• Monitor market activity in Abu Dhabi to identify opportunities.
• Coordinate with rental, technical, service and operations teams to fulfill customer needs.
• Maintain strong sales pipeline and report on visits, enquiries, quotes and conversions.
• Achieve sales, rental and revenue targets.
• Support opportunities in wider Middle East and export markets where applicable.
