Qualifications

• Graduate with a degree; Mechanical engineering preferred.
• 3–4 years’ relevant experience in sales/engineering.
• Proven track record marketing technical products.
• Willingness to travel extensively in the region.
• Valid UAE driving license.

Responsibilities

• Forecast annual visitation schedule.
• Arrange meetings with customers and travel logistics (air-ticket, hotel, transport).
• Understand customer requirements and propose spare parts, repair scope or machinery.
• Answer customers' technical queries.
• Visit customers, generate visitation reports, update customer profiles and vessel lists.
• Gather information to inform strategic orders and win new business.
• Generate new leads and build relationships; provide proactive inquiry generation.
• Meet/exceed sales targets and deliver high-quality customer service throughout the sales process.
• Participate in weekly/monthly meetings; manage day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Update inquiry register and visitation plan weekly; host foreign guests as needed.
• Prepare KAIZEN sheet monthly.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our skilled production team and help us meet our growing demand for high-quality services.

Job Description:

• Responsible in forecasting annual visitation schedule according to the assigned market.
• Responsible in getting an appointment to meet customers, arrangement to meet customers, arrangement of air-ticket, hotel, transportation, etc. to execute visitation plan.
• Responsible in understanding customer’s requirement and recommending spare parts, repair scope or machinery and report to the management for generation of proposals.
• Responsible in answering the customer’s technical queries.
• Visit customer, generate and submit visitation reports, update customer profiles and vessel list details, follow up inquiry and record status in the register.
• Responsible in gathering useful information from customers and report to the management in order to create a strategic move in concluding orders.
• Win new business by generating new leads and business relationships.
• Provide proactive inquiry generation.
• Meet and/or exceed individual and team sales targets.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers & parties throughout the sales process.
• Participate in potential weekly and/or monthly meeting.
• Manage day-to-day administrative responsibilities associated with role.
• Update inquiry register and visitation plan on a weekly basis.
• Responsible in entertaining customers as needed, including foreign guests.
• Responsible in preparing KAIZEN sheet every month.
• Perform related duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Any graduate degree (Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage).
• 3-4 years’ relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven track record in marketing technical products in similar field.
• Ability to speak with demonstration and competitive analysis skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the region.
• A good understanding of Sales Process.
• Strong computer literacy.
• With valid UAE driving license.
