Job summary

Destination Hotels in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Sales Coordinator to assist in the efficient operation of the sales department in line with brand standards.

You will liaise with sales account managers on corporate or group issues, learn Opera and Envision to verify reservations and space availability, and apply accurate booking procedures for groups and events while actively upselling services.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills to handle diverse business contacts with a professional appearance.
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Previous work experience as a Sales Coordinator, especially in GCC region, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with sales account managers on corporate or group issues, maintaining clear internal communication.
• Develop excellent knowledge of Opera and Envision to check reservations, room types, and function space availability.
• Demonstrate strong hotel product knowledge and up-selling techniques.
• Ensure correct booking procedures are applied for group allocations, meeting setups, catering terms, and contracts.
• Attend and participate in site inspections.

Sales Coordinator

• Liaise with sales account managers on any corporate or group issues and activities as required, maintaining communication internally




• To develop an excellent knowledge of Opera and Envision systems in order to be competent in checking reservations, room type availability, and function space availability.




• To have the strong hotel product knowledge and be well versed in up-selling techniques.




• To ensure correct booking procedures are applied in relation to group room allocations, meeting set-ups, catering terms and contractual agreements.




• Attend and participate in site inspections.

• Good knowledge of MS Office.
