Job summary

Kempinski Hotel Abu Dhabi is seeking an Assistant Room Service Manager to lead a service team, ensuring outstanding guest experiences in line with Kempinski standards. The role focuses on service excellence, cost-conscious management, and driving revenue through upselling while developing staff skills and professionalism.

In this position you will report to the Room Service Manager, supervise supervisors and wait staff, and stand in for the manager when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with cost control and budgeting basics.
• Willingness to train staff and develop service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead Room Service team to deliver courteous, professional service.
• Maintain high standards per Kempinski and hotel guidelines.
• Drive revenue through upselling and upsell alternatives.
• Attend outlet and department meetings and provide reports as needed.
• Act as Duty Manager in the absence of the Room Service Manager.
• Ensure operations are organized, clean, and compliant with procedures.
