Job summary

Kempinski Hotel in Dubai invites applications for an Assistant Room Service Manager to lead the service team, delivering courteous, professional, and efficient guest service in line with Kempinski standards and driving sales. The role develops staff, supports the Room Service Manager, and acts as Duty Manager in their absence.

You will monitor quality, control costs, and ensure upselling opportunities are capitalized.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in F&B management, preferably with a 5* hotel chain.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients/vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Room Service team to deliver courteous, professional and efficient service.
• Assist the Room Service Manager and act as Duty Manager in their absence; drive upselling and revenue.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures, hygiene, grooming and dress code are followed; maintain high standards of personal appearance.
• Coordinate with the Culinary Team and attend daily/weekly outlet meetings; provide reports and analysis for monthly reviews.
• Monitor costs, assist in inventory, and contribute to cost control and budget adherence.
