Parsons is seeking a Material Inspector for Dubai, UAE to oversee on-site testing and sampling, ensuring materials meet project specifications. The role involves coordinating with inspectors, witnessing tests, and maintaining quality control throughout concrete, roads, bridges and utilities projects.

The candidate should hold a technical diploma or degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience, able to read drawings and specifications, and proficient in relevant software.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or Degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in similar role on roads/bridges/construction.
• Ability to read working drawings, specifications and test plans.

Responsabilités

• Supervise all tests and sampling on site.
• Witness laboratory and in situ tests with contractor or third-party tester.
• Coordinate with Work Inspector to approve test work and discuss concerns.
• Perform sampling and testing quickly to avoid delays.
• Check delivered materials for conformance with approved source.
• Contribute to quality control and quality assurance.
• Assist Senior Work Inspector and Senior Materials Engineer with testing and approval tasks.
