Job summary
Parsons is hiring a Material Inspector - Construction Materials in Dubai to inspect, sample, and test construction materials used across infrastructure projects. This on-site role focuses on material compliance, lab and field testing, QA-QC, supplier verification, and inspection of materials for roads, bridges, concrete, and utilities works in line with project specifications.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years in similar work, or 3 years for Civil Engineering graduates with relevant
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field or Civil Engineering with relevant experience.
- Experience in roads, bridges, concrete and utilities is preferred.
- Ability to read working drawings and interpret specs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor material sampling and testing activities on site.
- Witness laboratory and field tests by contractors or third parties.
- Prepare and coordinate material samples for testing.
- Confirm readiness of works for testing with inspection team.
- Discuss material quality concerns with the inspection team.
- Regularly inspect delivered materials for conformity with specs.
- Support QA-QC activities and material reviews.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection and testing.
