Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Materials Inspector in Dubai to support major infrastructure projects by ensuring all construction materials comply with specifications. This role focuses on site testing, laboratory coordination, and strict quality assurance throughout the construction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in materials inspection within infrastructure projects.
• At least 3 years of experience on roads, bridges, concrete, and utilities projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction specifications and material compliance standards.
• Ability to read and interpret working drawings, inspection plans, and technical documents.
• Computer literate with ability to generate reports and manage digital records.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise material sampling and testing activities on construction sites.
• Witness laboratory and in situ tests conducted by contractors or third-party testing agencies.
• Verify that delivered materials comply with approved sources and project specifications.
• Coordinate with work inspectors to confirm readiness of completed works for material testing.
• Ensure timely sampling and testing to prevent delays to construction activities.
• Monitor quality control and quality assurance processes across infrastructure works.
• Review inspection and test plans, method statements, and contract documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of testing data, approvals, and inspection reports.
• Support senior materials engineering staff in material approval and acceptance processes.
