Job summary

Landmark Group invites an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end design coordination and fit-out delivery for mall and standalone retail projects across the UAE. You will manage schedules, budgets, procurement, and QA/QC while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely store openings.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of UAE retail fit-out experience, strong coordination skills, and is proficient in AutoCAD and drawing interpretation to drive successful handovers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with 5+ years in UAE retail/commercial fit-out for stores 10,000sft to 30,000sft.
• Proven end-to-end delivery experience from design coordination to store opening and handover with leading malls in UAE (MAF, EMAAR, DHAM, ALDAR).
• Strong knowledge of civil, architectural finishes, joinery, MEP, lighting, signage.
• Ability to interpret architectural, joinery and MEP drawings with BOQs and specifications.
• Knowledge of UAE authority guidelines (DCD, DEWA, DM, Trakhees, RTA) and liaison with developers/consultants/3rd parties.
• Ability to lead fit-out projects across emirates within budget and timelines.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, and procurement tracking.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ownership, accountability of every deliverable in project life-cycle.
• QA/QC, HSE, testing & commissioning for MEP/HVAC/FF/FA; snagging and close-out.
• Coordinate with Projects team to manage design changes, costs, CAPEX and variations.
• Budget understanding and material procurement.
• Proficiency in project planning tools; AutoCAD knowledge required.

Job description

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years’ experience, including 5+ years of UAE retail/commercial fit-out experience for store area 10,000sft to 30,000sqft.
• Proven experience independently delivering end to end – design execution and fit-out delivery from design coordination to store opening and handover with leading malls in UAE (MAF, EMAAR, DHAM, ALDAR).
• Strong knowledge of civil, architectural finishes, joinery, MEP, lighting, signage.
• Ability to independently review and interpret architectural, joinery and MEP drawings together with BOQ’s. specifications and shop drawings.
• Thorough with UAE local authority guidelines and compliance criteria of DCD, DEWA, DM, Trakhees, RTA in Dubai; ADCD, TAQA, ADECO, ADM, in Abu Dhabi and to liaison with developers, consultants, 3rd parties and external stakeholders – for Mall and Stand alone projects.
• Ability to independently lead, direct and successfully execute fit-out projects in different emirates within the approved budget and agreed timelines.
• Strong capability in project planning, scheduling, resource planning, procurement tracking and project execution.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain detailed project programmes, look-ahead plans, milestones, identify risks early, develop recovery plans and deliver projects to meet business expectations.
• Excellent communication, follow-up and reporting skills.
• Strong ownership, accountability of every deliverable in the project life-cycle, problem-solving and solution-oriented approach.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC, HSE, testing & commissioning for different categories under MEP, HVAC, FF & FA, snagging and document check-list for project close-out.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced retail environment.
• Coordinate with the Projects team to assess and implement site-driven design changes, ensure timely executions, track project costs, manage CAPEX and control variations.
• Strong understanding of budgets, material procurement and commercial project management.
• Proficiency in project planning tools. AutoCAD knowledge is required.
