Job summary

GMG is seeking a senior Business Development professional to drive growth of the BD portfolio and expand GMG's retail footprint in the UAE. You will identify partnerships, analyze markets, and guide strategic decisions to boost profitability and market share.

With 10 years in retail or BD and 3 years in leadership, you will build key supplier and customer relationships, coordinate with finance and operations, and ensure compliant expansion across stores and regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 10 years in retail or business development with 3 years in a leadership role.
• Professional certifications in business development or retail management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute business development strategies to grow GMG's retail presence and profitability.
• Identify new opportunities including partnerships and product/service diversification.
• Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, partners, and customers.
• Collaborate with finance and retail operations to align plans.
• Monitor performance of stores/areas and adjust as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and industry regulations.
• Demonstrate strong strategic thinking and decision-making.
• Lead cross-functional projects and manage multiple priorities.
