Role Context The Resort Kiosk Representative will serve as a visible guest contact across key resort locations, including kiosk points within Atlantis, The Palm and areas supporting Aquaventure and marine attractions. The position combines reservations, direct sales, guest service, payment handling, product knowledge, and operational coordination. The successful candidate will help guests choose suitable experiences while accurately processing bookings for Dolphin Bay, Sea Lion Point, marine animal interactions, Aquaventure cabanas, hotel pool cabanas, and other resort activities. Strong commercial awareness is important, but the role is equally focused on matching products to guest needs, resolving concerns professionally, and maintaining the service level expected within a luxury resort.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and identify their requirements through attentive conversation.
- Recommend resort experiences that match guest interests, schedules, and preferences.
- Promote marine interactions, waterpark activities, cabana rentals, and related resort products.
- Process attraction reservations and sales accurately.
- Handle internal bookings received from Guest Services, Imperial Club, VIP Services, and other resort departments.
- Provide detailed information about Dolphin Bay, Sea Lion Point, Aquaventure Water Park, The Lost Chambers Aquarium, and other resort activities.
- Maintain broad knowledge of Atlantis, The Palm facilities and guest services.
- Explain product options, availability, pricing, and current promotions clearly.
- Respond professionally to guest enquiries received in person, by telephone, or by email.
- Process payments for attraction and interaction bookings.
- Provide accurate quotations and calculate costs quickly when guests request multiple products.
- Maintain accurate sales, order, and booking records in resort systems.
- Check daily inventory reports for interactions, cabanas, and other reservable products.
- Confirm availability before finalizing reservations.
- Use Galaxy, eGalaxy, iOS, and associated operational systems as required.
- Update guest information and sales details accurately within computer systems.
- Work toward daily and monthly sales targets.
- Review personal sales performance and identify opportunities to improve results.
- Handle guest objections professionally and explain relevant alternatives.
- Support upselling where an additional experience genuinely matches guest needs.
- Resolve booking queries, service concerns, and guest complaints wherever possible.
- Escalate complex concerns through the appropriate operational channels.
- Maintain positive relationships with returning guests.
- Conduct follow-up communication by telephone or email when operationally required.
- Respond to emails within expected service timelines.
- Coordinate with operational teams to ensure confirmed guest experiences are delivered correctly.
- Share relevant information with colleagues during team meetings.
- Contribute practical ideas and successful sales approaches to team discussions.
- Represent the resort professionally during events, exhibitions, or promotional activities when assigned.
- Support operations at Dolphin Bay, Aquaventure Water Park, Sea Lion Point, and The Lost Chambers Auditorium when business demand requires it.
- Maintain a professional appearance and five-star communication style throughout each shift.
- Perform additional operational duties assigned by supervisors.
Ideal Profile
- High school degree.
- Previous B2C sales experience is required.
- Experience within a high-quality guest service organization is highly valuable.
- Previous resort reception, reservations, call center, or guest services experience is preferred.
- Strong ability to understand guest needs and recommend suitable products.
- Confident sales approach without compromising service quality.
- Ability to resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Good planning and organizational ability.
- Comfortable working with computerized reservations and sales systems.
- Strong accuracy when entering bookings, payments, and sales information.
- Fluent English communication is essential.
- Arabic, Russian, or Chinese language ability is advantageous.
