The project combines local civil infrastructure with electrical installations, communication networks, traffic-monitoring technology, and centralized intelligent transportation system integration. The Resident Engineer will provide day-to-day leadership across these interfaces while maintaining control of safety, quality, resources, costs, approvals, and completion milestones.
Candidates must hold a bachelor 's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university. A minimum of ten years of post-graduate experience is required, including seven years in a managerial or technical leadership capacity on major infrastructure projects in the United Arab Emirates. Direct experience with intelligent transportation systems is essential. Applicants should have contributed to system design, configuration, integration, deployment, testing, or commissioning on comparable infrastructure projects. The position requires proven construction management ability and experience evaluating constructability, technology deployment, and technical and financial proposals. Knowledge of Dubai regulations, statutory approvals, project risk management, and fast-track delivery will be highly valuable. Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory, including strong technical writing capability. Arabic language skills will be an advantage.
