Job summary

Mirage Leisure and Development is seeking a lead Site Supervisor for Abu Dhabi projects. You will act as the client’s representative on site, overseeing works to ensure alignment with design drawings, specifications and quality standards.

The role requires 12–15 years of site supervision or construction engineering experience, deep knowledge of UAE codes, and the ability to review submittals, method statements and inspection requests to maintain safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 12-15 years’ experience in site supervision or construction engineering (from enabling works till handover).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and UAE construction codes and standards.
• Experience reviewing contractor submittals, method statements and inspection requests.
• Good understanding of health, safety and quality management on construction sites.

Job description

Provide day-to-day site supervision on assigned projects, monitoring contractor performance to ensure works are constructed in accordance with design drawings, specifications and quality standards. Act as the client’s representative on site, ensuring works progress safely, on programme and to the required standard.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and standards
• Review and approve contractor method statements, material submittals and inspection requests
• Conduct site inspections and witness testing to verify quality and compliance
• Identify and record non-conformances, following up on corrective actions with the contractor
• Prepare and issue daily, weekly and monthly site progress reports
• Monitor contractor compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements on site
• Coordinate with design and project management teams to resolve site queries and technical issues
• Support the review of contractor claims and variations relating to site conditions
• Maintain accurate site records, including diaries, photographs and correspondence
• Support the coordination of testing, commissioning and handover activities
