Job summary

GREEN GROWTH CONSTRUCTION LLC in Dubai seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to oversee daily site activities, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings and specifications while coordinating with subcontractors and consultants.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and 5+ years in civil construction, with strong communication skills and knowledge of UAE standards to drive on-site execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects.
• Dubai/UAE experience preferred.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and authority requirements is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and other project team members for smooth execution.
• Ensure compliance with project schedules, quality standards and health and safety requirements.
• Inspect ongoing works and ensure proper implementation of approved method statements and inspection procedures.
• Review construction drawings and coordinate with the technical team to resolve site discrepancies.
• Monitor work progress and report site issues, delays and required corrective actions to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate and follow up on inspections, material approvals and site clearances with the consultant.
• Prepare daily site reports and maintain records of work progress, manpower and site activities.
• Ensure proper coordination between civil, architectural and MEP works.
• Follow up with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of assigned works.
