Job summary

Six Senses The Palm Dubai is seeking a Reservations Host to manage daily reservation tasks, update guest profiles, and coordinate with sales and marketing to optimize occupancy. The role requires accuracy, strong communication, and familiarity with PMS, GDS, CRS systems, and MS Office.

Based at the Palm Dubai property, you will handle inquiries, process reservations and deposits, and maintain guest history with attention to detail, while adhering to Six Senses standards and equal opportunity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year’s experience in a similar setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run daily reports for Reservation department, operational departments, Sales & Marketing.
• Process new reservations, update and clean up reservations, process advance deposits, answer reservations inbox emails within 24 hours, process reports (No Shows, ORS Comments, Commission, etc.) and other reservation related duties as assigned.
• Assist in allocation of rooms and handle special requests and hard blocking of rooms as needed.
• Contact guests or travel agents to clarify discrepancies in preferences or requests before arrival.
• Track future room availabilities based on reservations and monitor internet reservation system in coordination with hosts.
• Assist in determining room rates based on selling tactics of the resort and manage guest history and profile system.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Run daily reports for Reservation department, operational departments, Sales & Marketing.
• Process new reservations, update and clean up reservations, process advance deposits, answer reservations inbox emails within 24 hours, process reports (No Shows, ORS Comments, Commission, etc.) and other reservation related duties as assigned.
• Assist in all allocation of rooms.

• Monitor and update internet reservation system in coordinate with respected hosts.

• Assist in the management of the guest history and profile system.
• Ensure all reservations daily are completed with all necessary guest information, profile information and rate/market/source codes with accuracy and efficiency.
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year’s experience in a similar setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.

Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including PMS, GDS and CRS platforms. I have knowledge of hotel/resort and policies regarding reservations, discounts, MICE platforms and detailed procedures in handling local and overseas room bookings.

I have an excellent command of written and spoken English, and I am able to live in a remote location for extended periods of time and travel on single status.
