Job summary

Six Senses The Palm, Dubai seeks a Restaurant Hostess to welcome guests, seat them, and ensure exceptional dining experiences across resort restaurants. You will be responsible for greeting guests, assisting with menus, taking orders, and supporting service staff to maintain smooth operations.

The role requires a hospitality diploma/degree, fluency in English, and familiarity with MICROS/POS systems and MS Office. A strong guest‑facing focus and professional appearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality institution.
• More than one year’s experience in a similar operational role in luxury hotels is preferred.
• Advanced MS Office skills and familiarity with MICROS/POS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival in resort restaurants and conduct welcome procedures professionally.
• Answer outlet telephones courteously according to standards.
• Escort guests to tables and assist with seating, menus, water, and towels.
• Take orders from restaurant and other F&B outlets and ensure service readiness.
• Upsell property facilities and activities as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain high personal appearance standards and adhere to safety procedures.
