Job summary

Zone 5 Technologies is seeking a Document Control Specialist to support aerospace manufacturing and unmanned aircraft systems programs. You will manage controlled documentation, maintain configuration records, and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and contractual requirements throughout the lifecycle.

You’ll coordinate documentation activities between headquarters, manufacturing partners, quality teams, engineering, logistics, and customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Aerospace/Defense Document Control experience.
• Experience processing DD Form 250 documentation and government contract deliverables.
• Familiarity with EDMS/ERP/PLM systems and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain controlled documentation for aerospace programs per quality standards and customer requirements.
• Prepare, review, and process DD Form 250 documentation for government and defense deliveries.
• Coordinate documentation requirements across headquarters, production facilities, suppliers, QA, engineering, and logistics.
• Verify documentation packages for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before shipment.
• Maintain document revision control and configuration management throughout the product lifecycle.
• Organize and maintain manufacturing records, CoCs, inspection reports, FAI documents, test reports, and shipping records.
• Generate documentation packages and reports for customer reviews, demonstrations, acceptance testing, and sales activities.
• Track production milestones and ensure documentation aligns with schedules and delivery requirements.
• Support audits by maintaining accurate records and retrieval systems.
• Maintain EDMS with proper security, version control, and traceability.
• Identify documentation issues and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
