Shawfield & Sloane is expanding its private wealth and investor distribution platform across the Middle East, seeking Directors to originate capital, build an investor network and manage relationships with UHNW individuals and institutional investors in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

You will leverage an established global platform spanning private equity, real assets and private credit, leading regional distribution efforts and collaborating with leadership to tailor proposals.

Qualificações

• Proven track record in capital raising and investor relations.
• Existing demonstrable investor network in the UAE or Saudi Arabia.
• Experience with private equity, private credit, real assets or other alt investments.
• Entrepreneurial, relationship-driven approach with credibility to represent a leading manager.
• Ability to originate opportunities and secure commitments.

The Opportunity

Shawfield & Sloane has been exclusively engaged to support a leading global alternative investment manager in expanding its private wealth and investor distribution platform across the Middle East.

We are seeking experienced, commercially driven Directors to join established teams in Abu Dhabi and Jeddah, with responsibility for originating new investor relationships, raising capital and developing long-term partnerships with UHNW individuals, family offices and institutional investors.

These appointments offer the opportunity to leverage an established global investment platform spanning private equity, real assets, private credit and other alternative investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate and raise capital from UHNW individuals, single and multi-family offices, and institutional investors across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
• Develop and manage an established investor network, converting relationships into measurable capital commitments.
• Distribute alternative investment strategies across private equity, real assets, private credit and other private markets solutions.
• Build and deepen long-term investor relationships, identifying new allocation opportunities and increasing assets under management.
• Work closely with senior leadership and investment teams to develop tailored investment proposals and execute regional distribution strategies.

Candidate Requirements

• Established track record in capital raising, private wealth distribution, investor relations or alternative investments.
• An existing, demonstrable investor network across the UAE or Saudi Arabia, with direct access to capital allocation decision-makers.
• Proven ability to originate investment opportunities, secure commitments and convert relationships into invested capital.
• Strong understanding of alternative investment products and the investment preferences of regional UHNW and institutional investors.
• Entrepreneurial, relationship-driven approach with the credibility to represent a leading international investment manager.

Demonstrable Capital Raising Track Record

Candidates must be able to clearly articulate:

• Current investor book: Number and profile of active investor relationships, approximate assets covered and direct access to investment decision-makers.
• Capital raised: Total capital personally originated or raised over the past 3–5 years, including annual figures where available.
• Alternative investment experience: Specific experience raising capital across private equity, private credit, real estate or other alternative investment strategies.
• Future fundraising potential: Evidence of an established, engaged investor network and a credible ability to generate new capital commitments within the first 12 months.

Candidates should be prepared to discuss specific fundraising examples, their personal contribution to securing commitments and the types of investors they have successfully converted.

Locations

Abu Dhabi: Focus on UAE-based UHNW investors, family offices and institutional capital relationships.

Jeddah: Focus on Saudi investors, particularly Jeddah and the Western Region, with an established network of prominent families and private wealth relationships.
