Job summary

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated nurse to provide patient-centered and evidence-based care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Nursing with valid BLS and NRP, at least two years of experience, and strong English communication; basic Arabic is a plus. You will support a safe environment, and contribute to ongoing learning and mentoring within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is essential.
• Valid BLS and NRP certificates are essential.
• At least two years of nursing experience in the candidate's home country are essential.
• Basic Arabic language skills are preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team according to clinical standards and legislation.
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks per risk policies and legislation.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment under nursing leadership.
• Supervise, mentor and coach learners and nursing staff to build competence.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Provide and coordinate patient-centric and evidence based nursing care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
2. Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
3. Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership
4. Create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employees

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
