Job summary

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate patient-centered nursing care in line with regulatory standards and the company\'s policies.

You will collaborate with a multi-professional team to ensure patient safety, mentor learners, and foster a learning environment that supports staff development; UAE experience is beneficial and a valid BLS/NRP certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid BLS and NRP certificates.
• Two years of nursing experience in the home country; UAE experience is beneficial.
• MS Office proficiency is expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in collaboration with the multi-professional team according to set clinical standards and legislation.
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership.
• Supervise, mentor and coach learners and nursing employees to build competence.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Provide and coordinate patient-centric and evidence based nursing care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
• Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership
• Create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employees

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

valid BLS and NRP certificate

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: At least two years in own country

Desired:UAE experience would be beneficial

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Basic Arabic language skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
