Job summary

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi seeks a Nursing Leader to head the nursing team, ensuring patient-centric, evidence-based care and operational efficiency. You will guide clinical standards, manage resources, and drive quality improvement and staff development.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and evidence based nursing care, operational efficiency and positive patient experiences

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• To provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team


• To ensure evidence based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standards


• To ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that enables team engagement


• To manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost efficient and effective manner to enhance safe patient care


• To monitor and manage compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvement

Required Education

Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Desired: Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field

Required Experience

Essential: At least 3-5 years' senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital

Desired: 5-10 years senior nursing experience

Required Job Skills And Knowledge

• Demonstrate the ability to implement all five (5) stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation)
