Job summary

Mediclinic Reem Mall in Abu Dhabi is seeking a patient-centered nurse to provide and coordinate evidence-based care in line with regulatory standards and company policies. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, delivering high-quality care, and fostering a supportive learning environment for learners and staff.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's in Nursing with a valid BLS, and have at least two years of post-qualification experience; UAE

Qualifications

• Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and valid BLS certificate.
• Two years of nursing experience in candidate's home country; UAE experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in English with verbal and written communication; basic Arabic helpful.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate patient-centered nursing care according to clinical standards and regulations.
• Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety in line with policies.
• Promote positive patient experiences by fostering a conducive environment under nursing leadership.
• Supervise, mentor and coach learners and nursing staff to build competence.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Provide and coordinate patient-centric and evidence based nursing care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
• Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership
• Create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employees

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

valid BLS certificate

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: At least two years in own country

Desired:UAE experience would be beneficial

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Basic Arabic language skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
