Job summary

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks an experienced senior nurse leader to coordinate clinical and non‑clinical resources and oversee safe, quality patient care across shifts. You will provide guidance to a multidisciplinary team, activate and manage emergencies, and support the Unit Manager in operations.

A Bachelor of Nursing is essential; a Master’s degree is desirable. 3–5 years of senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital, and eligibility to work in

• Desirable: Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field.
• Essential: 3-5 years senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital.
• Experience as Duty Manager/Shift In Charge/Nursing Supervisor in a hospital setting within an acute care Hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial and leadership guidance to multidisciplinary team to ensure quality and safe patient care during shift.
• Activate, co-ordinate and manage all clinical or non-clinical emergencies.
• Provide operational guidance and support in the absence of Unit Manager or Head of Department.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To ensure that quality and safe patient care is delivered by co-ordinating and facilitating the management of clinical and non-clinical resources as well as support services in the facility

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

REQUIRED EDUCATION

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: At least 3-5 years’ senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital

Experience as Duty Manager/Shift In Charge/Nursing Supervisor in a hospital setting within an acute care Hospital setting
