Job summary

Artelia Middle-East is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales growth across transportation, aviation, rail, metro, and infrastructure sectors in the Middle East. You will develop key accounts, expand market presence, and win projects by coordinating with technical and tendering teams, negotiating contracts, and attending conferences.

The role requires 10+ years in BD/sales within infrastructure-related environments, a engineering or business degree, and strong English

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development in infra engineering, design consultancy, EPC, or business consulting environments.
Experience in airport, rail, or transportation sectors is essential.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or business management from a prominent university.
Willingness to travel frequently when required.
Excellent communication and English language skills; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement business development strategies for assigned accounts and territories, identify new opportunities, and secure project wins aligned with the Business Unit growth strategy.
Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring regular engagement with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Conduct market research, monitor industry trends, identify emerging opportunities, assess competitor activities, and provide strategic insights to management.
Coordinate with technical, operational, and tendering teams to develop winning strategies, establish strategic partnerships, and support proposal development efforts.
Support commercial negotiations, contribute to contract discussions, and help secure projects while protecting company interests.
Organize and lead client meetings, presentations, workshops, and follow-up activities to convert opportunities into business success.
Represent Artelia at conferences, exhibitions, industry forums, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate business opportunities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of opportunities, client interactions, market intelligence, and sales activities within the CRM system, while regularly reporting progress and forecasts to management.
