Job summary

AlFuttaim in Dubai is seeking a Regional Sales and Range Leader to shape commercial success across multiple stores. This leadership role involves managing product assortment, pricing strategies, and driving sales performance to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of retail experience with strong exposure to sales and commercial operations.
• Previous IKEA shopkeeper experience across one or more business areas preferred.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and tactical decision-making abilities.
• Genuine interest in home furnishings, customer behavior, and retail trends.
• Excellent mathematical skills for pricing and gross margin calculations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal leadership skills.
• Computer literate with strong relationship-building capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional Sales and Range action plans aligned with store and country business plans.
• Support shopkeepers across stores through regular communication, coaching, and operational guidance.
• Select products for all marketing activities in coordination with Logistics and commercial teams.
• Ensure product availability across campaigns and the commercial calendar.
• Produce buying guides for complex product ranges and support store sales execution.
• Coordinate all range-related matters between stores, retail management, and IKEA distributors.
• Set product pricing with store sales managers according to IKEA concept guidelines.
• Prepare sales budgets and monitor gross margin performance across the business area.
• Conduct market analysis on home furnishing trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
• Promote alternative products when top-selling items are unavailable.
• Perform range administration in sales IT systems and maintain product data accuracy.
• Coordinate with PR and catalogue production teams for supplier registration and marketing inputs.
• Support competitor analysis and recommend commercial actions for better market positioning.
• Develop and coach sales teams while identifying future leadership talent.
