Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to lead Modern Trade strategy and drive growth with major UAE retail partners. The role requires 8–10 years in FMCG sales and at least 5 years in Modern Trade within the UAE, with a business-focused degree (MBA preferred).

You will lead KAM and Merchandising teams, collaborate across Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance, and deliver strategic reviews to senior management.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in FMCG sales with 5+ years in Modern Trade within the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Modern Trade sales strategy and annual plans.
• Manage and grow national key accounts, including major UAE retail partners.
• Drive sales, profitability, distribution, SKU listings, promotions, and in-store visibility.
• Manage trade spend, promotional calendars, and commercial investments to maximize sales and profitability.
• Monitor sales performance, category share, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Ensure in-store execution, planogram compliance, and availability across stores.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance and others to ensure product availability and cost efficiency.
• Lead and develop Key Account and Merchandising teams through coaching and training.
• Provide business reviews and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Build strong customer relationships and foster a high-performance culture.

• Drive sales, profitability, distribution, SKU listings, promotions, and in-store visibility across Modern Trade channels.
• Manage trade spend, promotional calendars, and commercial investments to maximize sales and profitability.
• Monitor sales performance, category share, market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure effective in-store execution, planogram compliance, promotional implementation, and availability across store formats.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and other functions to ensure product availability, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
• Lead and develop Key Account and Merchandising teams through coaching, performance management, training, and succession planning.
• Provide business reviews, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Build strong customer relationships and foster a results-oriented, collaborative, and high-performance culture.

Skills

8-10 years of progressive experience in FMCG sales, with at least 5 years in a Modern Trade management role within the Food & Beverage sector in the UAE.
