HSBC Holdings plc in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Finance Technology Lead to define and deliver the technology strategy for HSBC’s regional Finance portfolio.

You will partner with Finance executives to translate priorities into secure, scalable technology solutions and lead a broad portfolio spanning strategy, transformation, platform modernisation, engineering excellence, financial management, resilience and regulatory governance.

Formación

• Full-time graduation degree essential for UAE visa and work permit.
• Significant senior technology leadership experience in financial services, typically 10+ years.
• Proven track record leading Finance Technology portfolios in regional/global organisations.
• Deep knowledge of Finance platforms, processes, enterprise applications and banking technology.
• Experience delivering large-scale technology transformation and modernisation programmes.
• Experience engaging with regulators, auditors and senior governance forums.
• Strong financial management experience including budgeting, investment planning, TCO and cost optimisation.
• Track record delivering cloud adoption, AI-enabled transformation, automation and modern engineering practices.
• Strong knowledge of technology risk, controls, resilience and regulatory obligations.
• Ability to communicate complex technology and Finance topics to senior, non-technical audiences.
• Strong influencing, negotiation, decision-making and partnership skills.
• Commitment to inclusive leadership and developing high-performing teams.

Responsabilidades

• Shape technology strategy for HSBC regional Finance Technology portfolio.
• Define investment plans, platform roadmaps and modernisation priorities.
• Drive automation, responsible AI, cloud and emerging technologies.
• Act as trusted adviser to Finance executives and business leaders.
• Promote secure, scalable and resilient solutions through modern engineering and observability.
• Lead platform modernisation, consolidation, decommissioning and lifecycle management.
• Own regional technology budgets across Run, Change and Investment portfolios.
• Represent Technology at governance forums, regulatory reviews, audits and inspections.
