Job summary

Global Green Growth Institute is seeking a Regional Director to align corporate strategy with in-country operations across the Middle East. The role oversees strategic programmatic and operational delivery of a multi-country portfolio, ensuring timely, impactful, and financially sound results.

You will drive resource mobilization, build partnerships with governments, donors and development partners, and provide leadership to country teams to design and implement delivery-oriented green growth

Qualifications

• Master's degree in international development, public policy, environmental studies, economics, or related field.
• 10–15 years of relevant professional experience, with 7–9 years in a senior leadership position managing complex multi-country programs.
• Experience as expert in themes such as sustainable landscapes, sustainable finance, energy.
• Proven track record managing large budgets, diverse teams, and multi-stakeholder partnerships.
• Fluency in English is required; fluency in Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional program design and delivery aligned with GGGI's Strategic Directions and Middle East Regional Strategy.
• Drive resource mobilization and donor engagement to support program growth.
• Oversee country planning and performance management, ensuring results-based management.
• Represent GGGI with governments, donors, development partners, and other stakeholders to secure support and partnerships.
